Kitchen Copilot release notes (2026.1.0)

Our biggest release yet is live! We're excited to offer a completely refreshed design and several significant features.

Visual redesign

Green is the new orange! At least for us. We've shifted from our strong orange to a much more soothing green, blue, and yellow mesh-gradient. We hope you love the new colors and design!

The entire app received an end-to-end refresh. In the process, we improved interactions throughout the app, making this version much more enjoyable to work with.

Chatbot - text and voice

We've introduced a powerful chatbot which you can use by typing or talking. Check it out! You can benefit from the latest in AI chatbot functionality to interact with a personal copilot in your kitchen! Ask anything you want about food, cooking, planning, and the like.

We feel confident that the voice chatbot will impress you. Give it a try! It will interact with you in a friendly, knowledgeable way, help with your meal planning, answer any dietary or culinary questions you have, and offer hands-free guidance while you cook.

Meal plan builder

Using the chatbot, we will build a meal plan for you, let you customize it, and apply it to your plan within the app. This is our first release for the meal plan builder, and we realize we need to add more recipes, which are coming soon. Give this first release a try and let us know what you think from within the app or by emailing us at info@kitchencopilot.com.

Introducing premium membership

We're gearing up for even more powerful features, and not all of them can be given away for free. Our first paid feature is the voice chatbot. We're giving you 10 minutes per month for free, but we hope you will consider becoming a paid member! There are plenty more power features coming soon, while we continue to improve the free features.
