Kitchen Copilot release notes (2025.1.2)

Version 2025.1.2 is live! The key feature for this release is social deep linking. You can now share a recipe with the community, and it will guide users, whether they already have the app or not, to access the recipe. Behind the scenes, we've implemented a major database and coding architecture change, which will enable easier development. We've released a few other bonus features. Here's the complete list:

New Features

• Social deep linking. Share recipes with the community

• Community feed updates to report posts, and hide and snooze users

• Image updates to the community feed to support higher resolution for text within images

• Cookbook thumbnail image for improved logic for auto-determined images and the ability to manually set the image

• Ingredient abbreviation improvements

• Pluralization for ingredients (e.g., 1 cup, 2 cups)

• App slide gallery added to the welcome screen

• Friend request notifications fix

• Refactoring recipe model to new structure (behind the scenes, but significant)
