More Control. Smarter Planning.
Version 2026.3.2 is live. This release is all about control: your meal plan, your recipes, your voice sessions — with a lot more say in how each one works.
Premium recipes by default
We heard you! Recipe search is now provided to free accounts. The cookbooks default to our premium recipe collection, which means better data, better images, and better matches. All users get the much-improved premium recipes.
A smarter meal plan builder
We rebuilt the meal planning engine from the ground up. It now plans from your own cookbooks and cookbooks shared with you, understands day-specific requests ("something quick on Wednesday"), handles alternating patterns ("eggs every other morning"), respects your time budget, and gives you real variety when you regenerate instead of the same plan again. Ingredient exclusions and dietary preferences now stick through meal swaps.
Recipe search that keeps trying
When the chatbot can't find what you asked for, it doesn't give up on the first try. It now runs multiple passes with different angles before coming back to you. It'll also skip your saved dietary filters if you explicitly ask it to, and its follow-up suggestions are grounded in recipes it actually found.
Better cooking mode
Cooking mode now shows the ingredients for each step right under the instruction, with quantities. Voice guidance walks you through one step at a time and the screen stays in sync with what's being read aloud.
Voice you can pause
You can now pause the voice chatbot mid-conversation and pick right back up where you left off. Pause controls sit inline in the chat, the session stays connected while paused, and "stop" always wins. We also taught it to ignore accidental wake words, so it stops jumping in when you were talking to someone else in the kitchen.
Drag and drop your meal plan
Move meals between days in My Plan by dragging them. It's the fastest way yet to shuffle your week around when Thursday suddenly turns into takeout night.
Copy any text
Text throughout the app. Chatbot replies, recipe details, cooking steps, community posts, notifications, and legal pages are now selectable and copyable. Copy a list of ingredients, and you'll get one per line, ready to paste.
Servings that make sense
We reworked how servings work end-to-end. Your household setting now resolves live rather than being frozen into a meal when it's added; recipe details open with the right servings when you arrive from My plan; and the odd internal numbers some of you spotted are gone. Ingredient breakdowns now merge duplicate ingredients and show consistent units.
Faster, steadier startup
The app opens noticeably faster. Feature settings are cached and loaded in parallel instead of blocking the splash screen. We also fixed several launch and resume crashes, including a Google Sign-In crash, an Android resume crash, and a crash on recipes with a broken source icon.
Chatbot polish
Long-running actions now show what they're doing ("Adding to plan now…") instead of leaving you guessing, and the voice version speaks those updates out loud. Tapping a recipe card gives you immediate feedback. Expired recipe images refresh automatically. Bulk meal deletes are smoother and confirm once instead of nagging. And there are new farewell messages when you close the chat.
Surveys
Onboarding surveys can now be resumed where you left off, restarted with a code, or revisited to change an earlier answer.
Bug fixes & performance improvements
Hundreds of fixes and improvements across meal planning, the chatbot, add-to-plan, ingredient units, and admin tooling.
We hope you enjoy!
